Humans are responsible for global warming

Professor emeritus Robert G. Strom of the University of Arizona's Lunar and Planetary Laboratory sees no argument about global warming - humans are 100% responsible and we've got fewer than 20 years to deal with it, or reversal of the trend will be impossible. In his book to be released next month, "Hot House: Global Climate Change and the Human Condition" he presents numerous data sets linked to climate change - all showing positive correlations with the growth of industy and population. See Professsor in a sweat over global warming.

Fewer than 20 years and maybe just 13: Panel: Gas emissions must be reversed in 13 years.

An encouraging shift toward action... on February 20 various corporate heads, international organizations and experts proposed a plan for the world-wide cutting of greenhouse gas emissions. That same day, European environment ministers pledged to reduce Europe's greenhouse gas emission to 20% below 1990 levels by 2020: EU agrees to cut greenhouse emissions by 20%
