Australia will ban incandescent bulbs

Australia announced plans to ban the sale of incandescent light bulbs, replacing them with energy-saving compact fluorescent bulbs. Most of Australia's greenhouse gas emissions are from coal-burning and other industry sources, but this is a step in the right direction. Other countries are considering similar proposals.
