Scientists explain global warming consensus
Joseph Henry LaCasce... "Naysayers are playing devil’s advocate or not qualified to discuss the science."
J. H. LaCasce is a climate science from the Department of Meteorology at the University of Oslo, Norway. For his full explanation as well as responses from other climate scientists see: After IPCC, 11 scientists explain warming consensus.
The atmospheric C02 levels have been rising alarmingly fast since the early to mid-20th century, and the global mean surface temperature has been rising in tandem. There is no serious disagreement about these trends, because both C02 and temperature can be measured with high accuracy. He goes on to say that the C02 increase is due to anthropogenic forcing, i.e., it is human-induced, and that climate models are now sufficiently reliable to differentiate between the warming caused by CO2 as oposed to other natural factors.
