Clarifying the issues on climate change

Media articles on global warming still include opinion pieces by non-scientists or by retired scientists who have never been involved in climatology or the kind of research that is currently taking place. They often raise issues that seem to cast serious doubt on the evidence of global warming or the fact that it is caused by carbon emissions from our coal plants and cars. This debate has been settled in the body of mainstream science although to listen to some, you would not think so. The science has indeed answered the issues that skeptics keep raising. For example, see Clarifying some important issues about climate change from Scientific American.
